Subscriptions, Updating Adventure Packs
I bought this product from a local retailer. Do I need a subscription to play the game?
You do not need a subscription to play with the product you purchased, which contains the first two Adventure Packs for your child’s grade level. There are a total of 12 Adventure Packs available for each grade level. To continue past Adventure Packs 1 & 2 , you will need to subscribe. With a subscription, each time your child completes an Adventure Pack, or at least once a month, the next Pack will be downloaded for just $7.99!

What is an Adventure Pack?
An Adventure Pack contains one unit of learning games to master and either a Badge (Kindergarten), Leadership Key (1st Grade) or Hero Shield (2nd grade) to earn. These are earned by completing a set of missions.
How do I complete an Adventure Pack?
Finish all the Missions by helping the JumpStart characters and earn the Super Gem by mastering all the Learning Games. Now you’ve finished the Adventure Pack! Once Adventure Pack #1 is complete, a new Adventure Pack will open up for your child to play. Remember, Adventure Packs are played in order. To unlock the next Pack, your child will need to complete all the Missions and all the learning games in the current Adventure Pack. How many Adventure Packs are in the box or Starter Kit?
The JumpStart World CD or downloadable Starter Kit contains the first 2 Adventure Packs.

My child finished the first two Adventure Packs, now the Badge/Key/Shield Board is locked. How do I get additional Adventure Packs?
The JumpStart World CD or downloadable Starter Kit contains the first 2 Adventure Packs. If you would like to access the remaining 10 Adventure Packs, you will need to subscribe. As long as your subscription is active, you will receive at least one Adventure Pack per month, each time your child completes an Adventure Pack.

How do I get additional Adventure Packs?
If you already have already registered JumpStart World and want to subscribe to receive additional Adventure Packs:
The new Adventure Packs will automatically download to your machine and become available as your child progresses through the game.

My child completed all the Learning Games in a Unit. When does the next Unit become available?

I received an email that told me new content was downloaded to my computer but I can't find it.
JumpStart World is played in a linear fashion. Each Adventure Pack opens up when your child is ready for it. While new content may have been downloaded to your machine, your child may not be ready for it yet. Once an Adventure Pack is completed, the next Pack with the new content will become available.

My child has finished all the Adventure Packs for the JumpStart World grade I bought. How do I get the next grade?
After your child completes JumpStart World, you can move them into the next grade by purchasing the CD for that grade from shop.knowledgeadventure.com. If your child has finished Second Grade, at the present time we are unable to upgrade to the next level, but we are busy working on JumpStart World grades 3-5!
