Parent to Parent Adding Wisdom Award

Here is what the judges had to say: Winner in three categories: Hot Products, Computer Software and Educational Products
"Our Family Testers found the innovative computer software to be kid friendly and easy to use offering hours of fun adventures. It's really cool because it makes learning fun, and while that crucial element is a challenge of sort with many companies, it's one of the most important ingredients in achieving motivation in learning. JumpStart World appears to have mastered the art of inspiring kids to want to learn while having a great experience at the same time. Kudos!" Jodie Lynn, syndicated family/health expert, CEO/founder of the Adding Wisdom Awards, and author of parenting book, "Mom CEO (Chief Everything Officer)"

Here is what the judges had to say: First of all let me start by saying that we are big fans of JumpStart World. We loved it. It met all of our expectations. It was challenging without being too difficult. The writers and planners of the JumpStart software have really done their homework and are mentored by people who know this age level. The kids are interactive, can pick their own person and can learn skills that they will need other than just math and the basics. JumpStart has boosted my child's confidence tremendously! They are using these same skills on the program that they are using at school and JumpStart has really been successful at "meeting the kids where they are." This is the age of technology and JumpStart understands that! Great job! Great research!

Here is what the judges had to say: When we discover educational software that is perfectly suited to the curriculum of its target audience we stand up and take notice. With JumpStart World our testers discovered an engaging and educational title that lives up to its billing. The JumpStart line has had a long history of upbeat reviews but this new release really impressed, especially in how the lessons are tailored to each child's individual learning style.

Here is what the judges had to say: JumpStart World is an educational theme park for Windows computers that can replenish itself with new content. There are three versions—Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade—that can be purchased for $20 (in stores next month), or downloaded from www.jumpstartworld.com. This blending of Internet and hard disk installed software marks an important evolution in children's software because it exploits the strengths of both formats. For example, the publisher's servers can track progress and download new content remotely, as well as automatically generate email messages about a child's progress for parents. The computer's hard disk delivers a large quantity of visual and sound information (including a lot of music and narration) in a format too large to stream online.
